Recently, I’ve been thinking a lot about how young children (3-6-years-old) are processing the stay-at-home quarantine and COVID 19. Children of this age group often exhibit magical thinking about the world and their place in it, and I imagine there are many stories you can share about the little ones in your lives as well. I hope you will post some.
In this post, I’ve included a video of my granddaughter Stassi – click on the link to view her heartfelt thoughts about everything that’s gone on in the past two and a half months. Note that she is hugging her teddy bear Pinky, who she confides in on a regular basis In my next post, entitled “The Worried Child,” with some suggestions for read alouds for 3 to 6-year-olds.
Stay well!
